This pair of neoclassical style gilt bronze and steel floor lamps, fashioned in the form of Roman torchieres, date from the late 20th century with halogen lamps feature finely sculpted and cast bronze elements, including Roman gladiator helmets, foliate paterae and lion's paw feet.  Measures:  87.5 x 29 x 29 in; 222 x 74 x 74 cm.  Each in good condition, with some oxidation to the steel and gilt surfaces, dust in crevices and scratches.  Designer is unknown.
