Pair of Islamic Qajar Dynasty Persian Damascened Gold and Silver Inlaid Steel Dove Figurines

This pair of Persian doves, sculpted from hammered steel and featuring inlaid silver and gold decoration, date from circa 1870s. Patina of each is old and unrestored, and each is in excellent condition, with only light dings and small dents, consistent with age. These sculptures will compliment a wide range of Middle Eastern decors. They reside with our client in Manhattan (New York City) and may be seen in person by appointment.
