This matching pair of tall (30 in, 77 cm) three-candle wall sconces in the gothic style date from mid to late 20th century. They are crafted from steel and feature two lower candle arms and three upper candle arms, plus gold plated surfaces on the backplates, arms and candle holders. Each was designed to be electrified, and on/off dial near the base. In need of new wiring. Condition is good.  There is light surface dirt and scratches consistent with age, plus some sticker residue. There is some pitting and scratches to chrome plating. One candleholder is cracked just above the drip pan and one drip pan has a large dent to one side. There are some slight bends to the candle holders.  Provenance: Sotheby's.
