PAIR sterling marcasite DECO BRILLIANT Brooch

This is for a PAIR of sterling and marcasite brooches that are as brilliant as real stones and with just as much sparkle and glitz!! I have a little history to go with these too. Both are marked sterling,one has the patent number of 2206908 on it.The brooches are large ( 2" each) and the marcasites are like brand new which tells me these have been so well taken care of. One has the initials BHL and the other has BGN. FRom what I understand,these were friendship brooches were two young women gave these to each other. They got together after 30 years of not seeing each other and they still had these brooches. Amazing enough, they both lived near each other and had for years. The friends stayed in touch and when both had passed with no heirs, sadly these were sent to auction. I was fortunate enough to get these and keep them together. The photos don't justice to these brilliant just like new brooches. I
