A really pretty piece of black agate that has been sliced in two to reveal the center. The center of the geode has wonderful striations in shades of gray and an irregular shaped depression with crystaline structures inside. The back appears to have been covered with what looks like gold foil. But am sure it is not "foil". The plateing looks as though it may be gold, possibly 10-12 KT. Overall, a pretty piece of decorative nature. Measures aprox. 1 1/4"X5/8". The shipping fees quotd are for first class/No insurance in USA only.
