During over fifty years of working as a photographer, Petr Helbich has become one of the most important non-professional Czech artists in his field. His long friendship with Josef Sudek (for whom he assisted) influenced his photography, particularly the images in his Beskid forest series. The hospital (which is also his place of work) has been a long-standing subject for Helbich. This image appears to be a doctor's white coat hanging on a coat rack.
