Philadelphia Whisky View Of State House Ad 1944 This is a September 16, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Continental Distilling Corporation of Philadelphia. It is a nice color picture, suitable for framing, of view of the State House, now Independence Hall, as it appeared circa 1800.. Ad reads, Birthplace of Hospitality. Picture by Bingham Ad also shows an open bottle of Philadelphia and two filled glasses, on a silver tray. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures10 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
