Pietro Barzanti (1825-1895) Three Graces Alabaster Sculpture After Antonio Canova

Unavailable

Our sculpture of the Three Graces after Antonio Canova comes from the Florence studio of Pietro Barzanti (1825-1895).

Statue measures 36 by 19.5 by 11 inches and comes with its original green marble pedestal measuring 39.5 inches tall.

Overall condition is very good.  There are apparent restorations to two fingers draping the face of the central figure and there may be other restorations elsewhere.  Apparently professionally cleaned and dressed in white wash, it's color is brilliant.

Signed in script on the frieze at the rear, P. Barzanti.
