Pontiac Long Tom Ad 1945 This is an April 2, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors Corp. with nice graphics from an early magazine. It pictures this war scene with the huge 155 Millimeter rifle and it reads, Making shells for Long Tom, our seventh war assignment. It states further, As often as once a minute, Long Tom hurls high explosive or armor piercing shells, shells that can reach out fourteen miles to reduce enemy bastions to rubble And vast quantities of them come from Pontiac Motor Division. It lists the other six items produced at the bottom of the ad. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
