A beautiful procelain dish by the AK Kaiser company of W. Germany. This is a very well known porcelain manufacturer of dishes and figurals and decorative items. This little dish has a christmas design from a painting by Barbara Furstenhofer. It is signed. The design is of Mary and baby Jesus on a donkey being lead by Joseph under what I think is supposed to be the Star of Bethlehem. The design number for this dish looks like 792. It has gold trim along the top edge. The dish measures approx. 7 1/4"X5 1/2"X1 1/2". Check out a serving tray by Kaiser with another B. Furstenhofer design listed elsewhere on my site (S_3594).
