Purple & Gunmetal Art Deco Dress Clip, 1.5" x 1.25", Reborn by Roxy

This clip started life as something else, it had a single thin post coming from the center of the back. It was too small to be secured with a butterfly clutch but the piece overall didn't work as an earring, so not sure what the purpose was! I soldered a dress clip mechanism to the back and now it has a useful function again. 
It has been completely reset with amethyst rhinestones.
Clips can be worn on the neckline, collar, in a breast pocket, clipped onto a chain as a pendant or even worn on a headband. I love their versatility and flair!

Reborn by Roxy: I have collected costume jewelry since I was a teenager. Sometimes it comes to me with dead and missing stones. After a steep learning curve I decided to try and rescue these pieces and bring them back to their former glory. Often, I am not able to do an original restoration due to lack of vintage parts, hence Reborn by Roxy. These pieces will be clearly marked as reimagined vintage pieces.
