A very nice puse dating from around the 1940's-1950's. I believe it is black wool fabric. It has a lovely jeweled clasp in silvertone. There are clear rhinestones and faux marcacites.The purse really looks like it was never used. The linning is in great condition. The original comb is still tucked away in it's pocket. The only "flaw" I see with this lovely purse is the fact that it has been stored flat and the stiff bottom has been "broken". It is no longer stiff and straight across the bottom. It measures approx. 13 1/2" High(including handle in upright position)/Approx. 8" wide across the bottom/Approx. 2 1.4" deep. The jeweled clasp is approx. 3 3/4" wide and 1" high.
