Quilt Abstract Art Titan Moon 55 x 69

Offering this unique throw quilt / wall hanging; measuring 55 inches x 69 inches, titled Titan Moon. When I discoverd the swirled fabric in this quilt I was fascinated by the colors but had not thought as to what I would use it for in a quilt. One day, while watching a show about our planets, they showed Saturn's moons, the largest is Titan. It has a swirling methane gas atmosphere and bingo ! I knew why I bought this fabric! The appliqued circles have a black background, I then added the crisp white and celery green squares to create a very modern abstract quilt. Backing is a geometric print in different shades of green. Binding is black. This was quilted on my Statler Stitcher long arm quilting machine, here in Ohio U.S.A. I used a creamy white verigated thread to quilt a all over circular pattern, giving you the visual of rotating planets. All fabrics used are 100% cotton, quilt shop quality. Batting is Luna Loft Heirloom, 80% cotton, 20% poly blend - very soft but very sturdy long lasting batting. Stitching is 12 stitches per inch, top quality thread. A unique, quality made quilt. Made in Caldwell Ohio, in the good old United States of Americia! You will not find this one in any store! It is made to be used, and to last many years.
