Rare antique 17th-century rapier sword belt carrier - hanger. The exterior is crafted from fine, soft leather, featuring white leather on the front and brown leather on the back. It is mounted with two gilt brass suspension mounts, intricately hand-chiseled with detailed designs, including a lion's head and acanthus leaves. The belt is secured with a hand-chiseled gilt brass buckle and a row of brass eyelets.
The frog consists of four loops, each featuring a gilt brass buckle that is intricately chiseled with scroll designs. At the top, the loops are adorned with gilt metallic cord, which is attached to a gilt brass suspension mount. This mount is elegantly decorated with a lion's head that showcases finely hand-chiseled details.

CONDITION:
