This particular piece is a very nice antique traveling inkwell. It has a very nice red leather covered inkwell with the word INK stamped in gold on the top. On the front t is a hidden button that releases the lid. Under the lid t is a second brass lid that covers the actual glass ink insert and t is a pen nib brush cleaner or pen wipe.
