Reo Auto Extra One-Fifth Ad 1913 This is a March 22, 1913 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from Reo Motor Car Co., of Lansing, Michigan. Ad reads, The Extra One-Fifth by R E Olds, Designer. Pictures the car priced at $1,095. Top and windshield not included in price. However, for $100.00 more they will equip with mohair top, side curtains and slip cover, windshield, gas tank for headlights, speedometer, self starter and extra rim and brackets. The one fifth they refer to is if they add 1/5th more to the cost of building the car, it is a better built vehicle. Nice graphics from an early magazine. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 11"" wide by 14"" tall.
