Rare majolica portrait tile depicting a Soldier with an Eastern Helmet  beautifully intaglio carved and relief molded from the Hamilton Tile Works, Hamilton, Ohio, c. 1883-1899. The tile is in very good condition with a glaze nick above the figure's helmet, likely from a fireplace poker, as shown; otherwise, super fine glossy glaze.  Please write with any questions you may have.
