IRIDESCENT PULLED FEATHER GLASS BOWL, SIGNED DATED 1982 AND NUMBERED BLOWN ART GLASS ICE BUCKET

Iridescent PULLED FEATHER LARGE BLOWN ART GLASS BOWL, SIGNED DATED AND NUMBERED.    Lovely pulled feather design with all colors of the rainbow in an iridescent metallic .     It is signed and dated 1982.  I cannot make out the signature.  It starts with a "B" and beyond that I have no idea what the letters are.   On the bottom it is numbered.   It is a large ice bucket shape bowl and maybe that is the true purpose but I can't imagine risking damage to buy using with with ice and tongs.     It is 7.5" across the top and stands 6.25" tall and the bottom is about 4.5" across.    The bottom edge is slightly rounded and the is a dimple of the pontil scar.   It is a lovely piece and but hard to photograph.  

Now for the condition.  There are no chips or cracks.  The outer finished along the bottom started out a silver color that  looks like it has some type of tarnish on the lines of the " feathering".   Then there is some cloudiness.   I am guess that it may have  some kind of water damage from being set in a bed of water.   I tried to polish it off but was not able to remove it all.   The areas of concern are more pronounced on one side.   Again this is limited to the area that is 1" up from the bottom.       I have never seen glass do this and do not know how it could be remedied.
