Armee Parallel Jaw Pliers / Cutters 590

This is a very nice clean pliers / wire cutters tool with jaws that remain parallel to one another in any position up to .40 thick. They are marked by the maker ARMEE 067.230 000.590 on the handle near the pivot pin. Unique to this tool is that they are spring loaded to return to the open position. Most likely made to suit a repeditive production application. Overall the plier are in good+ condition, the cutters and paralell jaws are in very good condition, very little wear of signs of use. Though these were not used much some moisture was allows to get into the areas about the joints so there is some missing nickel plating in those confined area aroud the pivot joints. Otherwise, about 85% of the original nickel plating is intact on all other areas. A very nice old tool! Measures: 6.5" long, the jaws are 3/8" wide, and have a baring surface of about 3/4". A nice hard to find, special tool in clean condition!
