Robert Scott Lauder "The Heart of Midlothian"-***PRICE REDUCTION!***

Rare Antique Original Color lithograph engraving of a painting "The Heart of Midlothian" Robert Scott Lauder (Scottish, 1803 - 1869). I cannot make out the publisher of this very old historic print based on a true story of a woman on trial for murder. It is framed behind glass. The antique frame is 32" x 23". This clearly marked that is is from a painting by R.S. Lauder, R.S.A. (Royal Scottish Academy.

I have not had the art it out of the frame as the print is too fragile.

The condition is old and brittle. There  is some flaking of color and t but mostly on the right side. Fortunately The faces of the people are un-effected. The bottom border w the publishers name if indicated is chew up a bit. The frame, which also is antiques is a dinged up. The glass has a bubble in it which proves that is must be the original glass. The engraving can be professionally restored.
