Rock Island System Railroad Ad For Travel to California. Late 1800 or early 1900 advertisement for travel to California by the Golden State Limited of Rock Island. Every car is new. This is a nice black and white ad from an early magazine with nice graphics of a postcard written by someone in California who obviously had a great trip on the Golden State Limited. The postcard shows a couple on horseback enjoying the scenery. Can receive a booklet about this journey by writing to John Sebastian, Passenger Traffic Manager of Chicago. In mint condition. Photo may reflect wrinkles that is in the plastic and not in the ad. Measures 6 1/2" by 9 3/4" tall.
