Ronald Morrell 208 Yards of Ruffles Ad 1938 this is an April 26, 1938 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from Ronald Morrel who created the wedding gown in this picture. It has 208 yards of lace. This dress was shown at the British Industries Fair in London. The train is five yards long and four yards wide and is finished with 208 yards of ruffles. Six seamstresses worked 11 weeks to make this costume. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
