This hanging pendant form ceiling lamp is carved from alabaster stone in the shape of an elongated bell, reminiscent of the designs of Emile Jacques Ruhlmann (1879-1933), including his urne lumineuse, designed for the Ile de France ocean liner in 1927.  Measures 20 x 7 in, 51 x 18 cm.
