Mounted to cardboard. A wonderful pictorial image of a street scene in what appears to be Boston. Dr. Rupert Scott Lovejoy (1885-1975) of Portland, ME was among the most notable artists exhibiting in photographic salons after World War I. His work is included in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. He exhibited in over 35 salons, including the prestigious Pittsburgh Salon, London Salon of 1919, and Kobenhavns Fotografiske Amator-Klub Jubilaeums Udstilling, Denmark.
