Carved from one solid piece of lindenwood, this handsome Russian Modernism rabbit has chip-carved details. The main figure draws back to reveal a hiding place sunk into the plinth. Circa 1920. In excellent condition, with a natural shellac finish, the delightful piece is approximately 4-3/8 inches long by 4-1/4 inches high by 1-7/8 inches deep. Ink-stamped on bottom, "Made in Russia."
