This is a very nice expansive brace auger bit, marked "IRWIN U.S.A. of A NO. 2" on the shank, and comes with the 5/8-1.0" and the 1.75-3" range adjustable inserts.  It appears as though there once was a mid range cutter insert with this set, but we include only the two mentioned.   It's length is 8.5" long overall and has a heavy duty 7/16" shank diameter. As you can see in the pictures, the graduated scale on the insert allow you to pre-set the size diameter that you want. In very nice condition, about 97% like new!  No rust or damage, sharp and ready to use.
