Salem China English Village Cup and Saucer is blue and white with scalloped edges and a wonderful border of flowers. The center picture shows a home with trees and a bridge over water with a woman feeding the ducks. Has grassy mounds with flowers and a cloudy sky. The backstamp in blue ink shows pattern picture and reads English Village by Salem China Co. Olde Staffordshire. Finest english ironstone hand engraved underglaze. Permanent colour Salem England. The cup is 4 1/2" w/handle and is 3 1/2" high and the saucer is 5 1/2". The cup is in mint condition and the saucer is near mint.
