Sanford MFG Clear Canning Jar Sanford MFG Clear Canning Jar Jar has no markings on sides. It has a rim type design molded into glass at top and bottom of jar. On jar bottom it reads SANFORD with the number 431 and the number 4. The glass lid says SANFORD MFG. CO. 0061 PATENTED JULY 10 1900. CHICAGO with the AND sign, then NEW YORK. Glass lid is chipped and cracked. This jar comes with a screw on ring that is totally rusted and is missing some of it. Approximately 7 x 3 1/2 inches wide.
