 Sankyo Music Box Shaped like Book Stack  with a faux Tortoise Shell Celluloid top with Raised Roses.   The gilt metal is probably spelter and it has developed a nice soft patina.    The top book opens to  the chamber inside for trinkets or jewelry.       The movement works when wound.  It automatically shuts off when the lid is closed or it runs out.  It has a tenancy to run slower toward the end of the tune.   I don't know for sure what the tune but  another music box of the same claims to play " memories".    Other than what has been mentioned the condition is very good.    Measures:  5" x 3 1/2"
