Schrader's Tire Pressure Gauge Patent 1923

Unavailable

This is a nice tire collectible! It is a Schrader's Sons tire gauge, it is marked "SCHRADER TIRE-PRESSURE-GAUGE MANUFACTURED BY A. SCHRADER'S SON-INC. BROOKLYN N.Y. U.S.A. PATENTED JULY.6.1909 & MAR.28.1916 FEB.14.1922 & APR.10.1923". This gauge is about 2.4" long with the inside gauge retracted, and is brass on the outside. It has about 95% of the original nickel plating on it, some minor scratches, otherwise in very good condition. This is an antique gauge and is not designed to gauge modern day tire pressures. It comes with a small leather case that is also intact but beginning to become fragile, folded areas beginning to rip.  There is also some evidence of one seam stitched repair. The snap on the case is in good working order, and is marked "SCHRADER'S TIRE GAUGE"; also. These are rather hard to find with most of the nickel plating intact, not to mention a good leather case.
