Seagrams VO Canadian Futureistic Gardens Ad 1944 This is a May 6, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Seagram Distillers Corp of NY. Ad shows a garden in Scotland where seasons are short. A truck farm is heated by underground steam pipes and kept under glass in winter open to the air in summer. Grows six to eight crops a year. Ad reads, Men who plan beyond tomorrow like the lightness of Seagrams VO In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
