Sears Cottage Ware med/large sugar size Canister is crème color with an embossed painted cottage scene. The picture on this canister protrudes to give it a three dimensional look and the lid looks like a straw roof with the knob resembling a steeple. This scene is a cottage nestled among the trees and it shows outbuildings with farm animals and a couple of fences. The bottom edge shows two rows of brick and you can see spots of underlying brick around the canister as well. The backstamp in black reads Sears Roebuck and Co. 1981 Made in Japan. This canister is 4 7/8" in diameter and it is 9 1/4" high with the lid on. There is a 10.00 price reduction due to slight imperfections.
