Demi Parure: This is a beautiful set. It is unmarked. All the pieces are set in gilt brass. Some of the finish shows wear. All the stones are prong set. I am unsure as to when this set dates from, but it is probably from the late Victorian period. The color is a deep apple green, with inclusions within each stone. Their is slight veining also evident on closer examination. The silk box it is set within is probably original, but we are unsure. The exterior of the box is black silk, and the interior is a deep fuschia pink. The silk on the interior lid has a more purple hue than the bed for the jewelry. Overall, a very stunning set!
