Shawknit Mens Socks Ad. This is an ad for the Shaw Stocking Co., Shaw St., Lowell, Mass. This ad appeared in the Munsey Magazine of New York in the early 1900's. This is a Christmas ad selling 6 pairs of mens socks for $1.50 Prepaid! The box is very colorful picturing children in Dutch clothing. They are sledding, feeding the geese etc. Their clothing is in various colors of blues, reds and browns and the box appears to have two pink bows. The ad is 9 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches and is in excellent condition. No creases, tears etc. The ad shows the Shawknit trademark.
