Shell Research 1945 Ad. This color April 23, 1945 ad states Gulliver in East Chicago . Almost everything in East Chicago is normally large, buildings, streets and traffic are life sized. But if you were permitted to enter one big building, youd immediately feel like Gulliver in Lilliput. Picture shows man Checking Valves and gauges on pipe lines going out across countryside.
