Shell Research 1953 Ad. This color September 19, 1953 ad states Joe Magarac Plays Pat A Cake with white hot steel. U.S. Steel Corp. uses a product of Shell research in two widely different operations. The same grease, in both cases outperformed all of its predecessors. Picture shows strong man playing with white hot steel. Steel mill is in background. Magazine tear sheet picture is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
