Our painted plaque plaque depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence dates from around 1960.  Brass plate at lower center reads "Given by Mrs. Malcolm E. Nichols / Massachusetts State Senior President / Children of the American Revolution / 1947 to 1950."  32 1/2 by 38 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches.

With old restorations and inpainting, plus numerous chip losses and scratches.  A good candidate for professional restoration.
