Unavailable

Three framed original eighteenth century hand colored copperplate engravings by William Curtis (1746-1799, English) from either "The Botanical" or "Flower Garden Displayed", published London, 1794.The three are in a scalloped frame. The other three were recently sold. These are the last grouping as you browse all the photos. These were framed recently as they were purchased from a book dealer who had incomplete copies of the above mentioned publications where the engravings were part of. Therefore condition of each is really good with no evidence of the usual UV damage, etc. of previously framed lithography. These are guaranteed original works of the eighteenth century. The framing alone cost more than the asking price.

12 3/4" by 16 3/4" framed; 9" by 5" sight size
