Our enameled Tibetan metal jar or bowl with lid dates from the early to mid twentieth century, and features inlaid turquoise, lapis and carnelian stones, and four cartouches with the Islamic proverb that translates to "There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

14 3/4 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches across (37.5 by 29.2 cm).

In good condition.  There are small losses to the turquoise on the finial, scattered cracks and small enamel losses throughout, and a loss to one of the four applied metal flowers to one of the circular red ground cartouches.
