Smith Premier Typewriter Ad This is a black and white ad that appeared in Munsey's Magazine of New York around 1900 for The Smith Premier Typewriter Company of Syracuse, N.Y.. It reads this typewriter produces black, purple or red typewriting at the will of the operator. With the New Tri-Chrome Smith Premier, simply a movement of the little lever on the color frame and the machine is ready for the work required. We really have come a long, long way! A few tiny flea bites along the side of the paper where it was removed from the magazine, otherwise in excellent condition. Measures 6 1/2" by 9 3/4".
