Smoking Item/?Bakelite Cigarette Holder/"Pahsa"

$125.00
Quantity available: 1

WOW!!! What a statement this would make! We believe it may be bakelite. I am not sure other plastics of the era would have held up to the heat. We believe it was designed to appear to be carved from a tusk. It has a very slight curve to it, like the natural curve you would find in a tusk. It is made in two pieces that screw together. The joint is in very good order. The joint is where the blue lines go around the holder in the middle. The carved and painted designs are remenisant of the old Indian Mogols. A "Pasha" type design. It is in very good condition. There are a few tiny places where there is a bit of discoloration. The whole tube is open, no clogs. There are no cracks in the ends. There are some teeth marks on the mouth area. It measures approx. 15 3/4" long and approx. 5/8" wide. The shipping fees quoted are for priority/Insured in USA only.
