Solitaire Style Amethyst Color Ring. This is a nice little ring. The dark amethyst color stone is set in solitaire style in a gold color band. The band is old and has no luster but the stone is lovely. It is held by 6 prongs and sits high on the band. I would guess this one to be from the 1940's. The stone measures 1/4" across.
