South Shore Printers Chicago Blotter Although it is not dated. this is an ad, approximately from the 1960's, for South Shore Printers of 1533 E 75th St., Chicago 19, Illinois. On the front the background color is white with purple lettering and the back of the blotter is white. On the upper right corner there is a small 8 ball and encircled around that it reads 8-ball printing service. Beneath that on the right hand side it reads Your ticket for speed! There's no limit to the service you get from South Shore Printers. Just ask for 8-ball printing service. the service that's fast and good, too, because we're old masters at this. No extra cost.. Under that is the letters S S P and their name and address. On the left there is an area of black with the backgound color or white showing through for the lettering which reads It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense by R.G Ingersoll. This blotter is more expensive as the corners have been rounded by the company. Never been used. On the back it shows some slight ink marks from being stacked with other blotters. Otherwise near mint condition.. Measures 3 3/4" by 9 1/8".
