Historic Brown with color tinting Transfer ware plate. Made for Meier and Frank, Co., of Portland, Oregon by Johnson Brothers, England c 1950-1960.

It measures 10 3/4”.

In the center is an early view of Oregon City. On the rim are Portraits of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark with the seal of the state of Oregon, and highlight pictures of Celilo Indians fishing, State capital in Salem, Bonneville Dam, Lot Whitcomb Steam paddle boat, and Crater Lake.

The condition good. No chips or nicks on the side that is to be displayed. On the bottom there are two areas that look like they would be tiny chips but I beleive that these are manufacturing flaws.

You will find my selection not only interesting & fun to browse through but very affordable too.
