Spanish Colonial Silver Cup

$450.00
Quantity available: 1
Here is an excellent example of an Eighteenth Century drinking cup fashioned of mine-grade silver from Bolivia's rich mines. The paneled hexagonal base is topped by floral garlands banded top and bottom with chained and pearled rims. The ogee handle sports a central pineapple with zoomorphic finials of dogs or llamas. The three-inch diameter cup, approximately 3-1/2 inches tall and four inches across at the handle, has a fine patina and is in superb condition. (A similar example is Trocadero item 111166.)
