Stanley No. 75 Bull Nose Plane

This is a nice clean older Stanley Bull Nose Rabbit plane with it's original box or believed to be original box. The plane cutter is  marked "STANLEY MADE IN ENGLAND" on the cutter only, the original box is marked "MADE IN U.S.A., and the small label on the plane is worn to the point we can only see a few letters in the Stanley name"  Many of the replacement blades for certain Stanley planes were made in England, this blade/cutter appears to be an import from Stanley Tools England.  Still great quality. The cutter is sharp, good length, no cracks, and retains about 50% of it's original paint/Japanning on the 2 main cast parts of the plane. All the bare metal surfaces are clean and rust free. Measures 4" long x 1" wide cutter. A nice woodworking tool!  

The original box is in good solid condition with a very good label, on it reads; "STANLEY MADE IN USA  1 ONLY 75 RABBET PLANE".  The box top has metal braces on all 4 corners that helps to keep it sturdy and useful for plane storage.  The top has some age toning but for the most part looks good.  The bottom section of the box has heavy tape type corners and is also sturdy, not ripped.
