This is a nice clean 2 foot, 4 fold boxwood architects rule with the arch joint, and brass fittings including end caps. All the alignment are missing, there is only minor warpage noted on the rule, it is useable. The numbers and markings are still in good condition, some minor staining and or darkening noted on the boxwood, and there is two very small dings noted, one between the 15 and 16 inch marks, and one near the arch joint on one side only. No cracks, solid boxwood. It has good visiable markings on the majority of the rule, and a nice clean shiny finish inside and on the outer scale as well. Nice beveled edges in four areas with very good drafting scales. The rule is marked "STANLEY NO. 53 1/2". A very nice, unique ruler!
