This is a nice clean, near like new, 1.50" wide 10.40" long socket pocket chisel STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A." on the steel. In the Stanley catalog this chisel appears to be a No. 1750 as it has all those feature described.  It's in great shape, sharp and ready to use. There is no rust or pitting anywhere, very smooth finish some minor dings on the socket exterior area noted. The nicely fitted hardwood handle has the leather cap end, and is solid with no cracks, a minor ding noted in one leather end cap, very nice shape.  One of the nicest I have seen of the No. 1750 type!  The No. 1750 was only produced for 2 years, from 1939 to 1941 in limited quantities.  They are hard to find in this size.
