Sterling Antique Necklace Bracelet Hand set paste rhinestones Austro Hungarian Vintage set

This interchangeable set includes a necklace and matching bracelet made of sterling ( marked) and it has hand set paste rhinestones that are prong set in the most unusual way. The two prongs that hold each stone are actually part of the design of the bezel. It is a very unusual way to see stones set. What is cool is that the bracelet actually can become the extender and they can all hook together to form a 21 7/8" necklace ( the bracelet is 7 7/8" by itself). .It is heavy and well made and has at least 400 stones ( 1 missing from necklace). I have not cleaned or polished this because I wanted you to see the patina that is on it. The bracelet has tulip designed links and the necklace has ovals. Way back when people were tiny so it is no surprise that this necklace ( or choker) measures 14" all by itself. I have never seen a set like this so don't miss out at the last minute.
