Antique Ring Sterling VIctorian HAND with puffed heart charm Signed Lross Germany

I love the old sterling victorian hands that you see in everything from necklaces to brooches so to see this in a sterling ring was a real delight. The hand holds an antique victorian silver puffed raised relief heart charm fob . The ring weighs 15 grams and is fully signed on three different places. The ring is a size 6 and is a great quality piece.It looks like it can be resized ( see back ) but I think it has to be done by a jewelry since the metal is not very flexible.  The signature is Grosse. Mitchel Maer, Henkel & Grosse was chosen to manufacture Christian Dior jewelry in 1955. From that time on, four collectors each year had to be created. Their Christian Dior collections are noted today by the quality created for"haute couture". The unique use of beautiful color juxtapositions were avante-grade for the time. Since 1958, Grosse has signed and dated each piece made, whether from the Grosse or the Dior collections. The early pieces from both ranges are highly collectable and very valuable.
